Catalonia Team Championship
This is the most prestigious team competition celebrated in Catalonia. Each year, it congregates more than 3.000 licensed players from all around Catalonia, gathered in different groups and categories, during nine amazing weeks of competition. Historically, our club has been represented in this competition by three teams: The "A", composed by our 10 best players, whose good level is well-known by everybody in the category. "B" and "C" teams are furtherance teams, which are an excellent chance for less experienced players to show and improve their level and it also becomes an opportunity for our rookies (most of them are pupils from the Club's chess school) to test their progress. Each year, our premier team is strengthened by players from the furtherance teams.
